The visual-arts program emphasizes the creative process and celebrates inquiry and expression through opportunities for students to explore themes and ideas with a wide range of materials. The Lower School program builds a foundation of habits and skills through practice, visual problem-solving, and pure exploration. Students gain experience in drawing, painting, woodworking, wire, clay, papier-mâché, and fundamentals of design.
